THE ALLSURF

The AllSurf is an incredible tool! I use this rod for both striper fishing and it has plenty of backbone to handle fish of all sizes (30-50”) and even enough sensitivity to catch porgy’s. I’ve casted 4-7 oz plugs and weighted eels that all go super smooth on this rod, and the adjustable height is great for pier, beach or boat fishing! Can’t wait to get this out for the fall run when fish are on the top! The carrying case is also really solid and protects the rods well while also keeping the extra sections organized.

I've used this rod to fish for giant arapaima and redtail catfish in the Amazon, bronze whaler sharks in Namibia, tarpon in the Virgin Islands, striped bass in Quebec, yellowfin tuna off New Jersey, silver salmon in Washington, lake trout in the Yukon, and pike and tiger musky in Montana. There is no other fishing rod on the market that can adapt to such a host of big game fishing situations, much less functioning in both a baitcast and spinning orientation at 8, 10, or 12 feet long. But maybe the best part is it packs small enough to forget about in your luggage on long journeys. Amazing invention and a rock-solid fishing tool.

I took the ALLSURF to Christmas Island last year and it worked great for casting for GTs in the surf and on the flats. We used it as a teaser rod too, and lured several trevally into fly rod range. While trolling between the flats we caught blue trevally and barracuda. Then we went offshore and caught tuna and wahoo. Don't leave for the tropics without this rod!

I love how portable this rod is! I use mine to fish halibut off the beach in Alaska and it does well. It fits in my luggage so it’s easy to bring along on saltwater fly fishing trips along with a small tackle kit, it’s a fun way to get some dinner. I have taken it to a few resorts where fishing isn’t really the focus of the vacation but it gives me something to do in the morning before the beach gets crowded. I use a Shimano Saragosa 8000 on mine with 50# power pro. A bigger reel might be a little better but it’s the same reel I use on my shorter Allrod and I wanted a one reel solution for beach and boat fishing.

Perfect rod for serious travel fishing. Packs small enough to always bring, but fishes like a true full-size setup. I’ve used it for everything from reef species and casting to trolling offshore, and it handled all of it surprisingly well. Huge confidence booster when traveling because you’re not compromising performance just to save space. Easily one of the best gear purchases I’ve made.
